Music Teachers of Excellence (MToE) was launched in 2016 to celebrate music teachers exemplifying excellence in the field. Each year, the CMA Foundation awards 30 public school music teachers a $5,000 grant, with half going to enhance their classrooms and the other half to enhance their personal lives. They are invited to Nashville for a red-carpet event where they are treated like the stars that they are.

With 94% of public school teachers in the U.S. spending their own money on classroom supplies, teachers need our help now more than ever.
